TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - K-pop group BTS will be holding a concert titled BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG on March 21, 2026, at Gwanghwamun Square, Seoul. Their first group performance in almost four years will be exclusively streamed live on Netflix on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesia Time).
The upcoming concert is being held to celebrate the release of BTS's new album, ARIRANG. RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook will perform the debut live stage of songs from their fifth studio album, released on Friday, March 20, 2026, a day before the concert.
"Netflix has partnered with HYBE to bring these pop stars to the stage as they make their historic return to the music scene," stated Netflix in a written announcement received by Tempo on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
This concert comes after the announcement of BTS's new album and world tour. BTS's fifth studio album, ARIRANG, is an introspective work exploring their identity and origins. Following the album release, BTS will kick off the ARIRANG World Tour (2026-2027), covering 34 regions and 82 shows in Asia, North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
BTS Documentary
In addition to the concert, Netflix will also stream the documentary film BTS: THE RETURN on Friday, March 27, 2026. This feature-length documentary not only depicts BTS's return but also presents the behind-the-scenes process of their latest comeback album.
Directed by renowned filmmaker Bao Nguyen and produced by This Machine (Martha, Karol G) and HYBE, the documentary provides unprecedented access by following BTS as they reunite to embark on a historic cultural pop reunion. Fans can also witness moments of reflection on their journey so far, which has transformed the seven members into global icons.
After completing their mandatory military service in South Korea, the seven members reunited in Los Angeles to make music. They returned to the creative space together after experiencing separate times and personal changes.
As millions of fans eagerly anticipate their return, BTS grapples with questions such as how to start again, how to honor the past without being bound by those moments, and how to move forward together.
Through moments filled with doubt, laughter, and rediscovery, BTS creates new music that reflects who they are now. This will culminate in a significant album for its time. "Intimate, emotional, and filled with joy, BTS: THE RETURN is a story that can only be told by BTS: a story of resilience, brotherhood, and rediscovering themselves," wrote Netflix.
