TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Tennis legend Roger Federer has added to the list of the world's richest people for 2026, according to Forbes.
The 103-time tour-level champion has not only achieved success on the court but also achieved success outside of tennis.
As reported by the ATP on Thursday, Federer appeared on the 2026 billionaires list after building a fortune of approximately US$1.1 billion, or approximately Rp18.6 trillion, according to Forbes.
He is one of the few athletes in history to achieve billionaire status through a combination of sporting success, endorsements, and business ventures.
Federer joins a small group of athletes who have surpassed the billion-dollar mark on this year's list, including LeBron James and Tiger Woods.
His appearance on the list also reflects a growing trend among athletes who build significant wealth through entrepreneurship and business investments alongside their playing careers.
On the court, Federer's track record remains one of the most accomplished. The 44-year-old tennis legend has won 20 major tournament titles, spent 310 weeks at world No. 1, including 237 consecutive weeks.
He has also captured 28 ATP Masters 1000 titles and won the ATP Finals six times.
The Swiss star, who also co-founded the Laver Cup, attended the Australian Open in January, competing in an exhibition doubles match alongside fellow ATP No. 1 Club members Andre Agassi, Patrick Rafter, and Lleyton Hewitt.
