TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are confirmed to face English side Arsenal in the 2025/26 Champions League final.
The two teams will battle for the trophy at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday, May 30th, 2026.
PSG secured their place in the final after a 1-1 draw against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the semifinals at the Allianz Arena on Thursday.
In the second leg, PSG took the lead through Ousmane Dembele's goal before the hosts equalized through Harry Kane's late goal.
This result was enough for Les Parisiens to advance with a 6-5 aggregate victory, following their dramatic 5-4 victory in the first leg.
The day before, Arsenal secured their place in the final after eliminating Atletico Madrid. The Gunners secured a crucial 1-0 victory in the second leg on Wednesday (May 6th), giving them a 2-1 aggregate lead over Diego Simeone's side.
PSG is determined to defend its title and is aiming for a second consecutive title.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is seeking to make history by winning their first Champions League title in the club's history.
The match at the Puskas Arena will be the fourth meeting between the two teams in the last two seasons.
PSG and Arsenal have met back-to-back since last season's group stage, adding to the tension in their European rivalry.
