TEMPO.COJakarta - The death toll from the Bali floods has risen to 14, with two individuals still missing, according to the latest data from the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB). As of Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB), Abdul Muhari, Head of BNPB's Data, Information, and Communication Center, confirmed the new total in a written statement.

The casualties are detailed as follows: eight in Denpasar City, two in Jembrana Regency, three in Gianyar Regency, and one in Badung Regency.

"Two missing victims have been identified in Denpasar City," Muhari stated in a written release on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

Meanwhile, a total of 562 residents have taken refuge in temporary evacuation centers. The Bali Provincial Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported that 327 people are taking shelter in Jembrana Regency, with another 235 in Denpasar City.

"Public facilities such as schools, village halls, and community halls are being used as temporary evacuation points," Muhari said.

A combined emergency response team is continuing search-and-rescue efforts and working to control floods and landslides in the affected communities. To assist residents, BNPB has provided aid, including 200 blankets, 200 mats, 300 packages of staples, and 50 family tents. For flood management, the agency has also supplied a rubber boat, an engine, and three water pumps.

The floods and landslides have impacted seven administrative areas in Bali province. The Bali Provincial BPBD recorded more than 120 flood points, with the highest concentration (81 points) in Denpasar City. The other affected areas include: Gianyar Regency (14 points), Badung Regency (12 points), Tabanan Regency (8 points), Karangasem and Jembrana Regencies (4 points each), and Klungkung Regency (Dawan District).

In addition, 12 landslide points were reported in Karangasem Regency, 5 in Gianyar, and 1 in Badung. According to Muhari, emergency response efforts are still ongoing with support from the Bali Provincial BPBD and BNPB.
