TEMPO.COJakarta - The Chief Operating Officer of the National Energy Investment Board (BPI Danantara), Dony Oskaria, remained silent after a closed-door meeting with the State Financial Accountability Body of the House of Representatives (BAKN DPR) on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

The meeting, held at the Parliamentary Complex in Jakarta, centered on the governance of microcredit (KUR) and the preparation of financial reports.

The meeting, which began at 10 a.m., concluded at 1 p.m. Following the session, Dony declined requests for interviews, instead directing journalists to the meeting's chair. As he departed, he stated, "Ask Pak Andreas Eddy Susetyo (Chair of BAKN DPR)."

Andreas Eddy Susetyo clarified the reason for the private meeting with Danantara. He explained that the session was a preliminary stage of discussions with the investment agency regarding governance and the preparation of its financial reports.

Susetyo assured the public that once the parliament and Danantara reach a conclusion, the results will be shared transparently. He justified the confidentiality of the current talks, stating,

"Ethically, it is still in the preliminary stage. If the current discussions are revealed, I would be violating ethics," said the politician from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P).

Although he was hesitant to disclose full details, Andreas revealed the core topic of the discussions: enhancing the governance of microcredit. He noted that Bank Republik Indonesia (BRI) was invited to participate in this initiative. "To enhance the governance further. That's the main point," Andreas concluded.
