TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian national futsal team clinched the championship title at the CFA International Men's Futsal Tournament 2025 after a 4-2 victory over Denmark in the final match. The game took place at Shijiazhuang College Sports in Shijiazhuang, China, on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Indonesia started the match with an aggressive attack. After early missed opportunities from Dewa Rizki and Muhammad Fajriyan, the Garuda squad secured their first goal in the second minute. Dewa Rizki capitalized on a pass from Reza Gunawan to deliver a powerful shot that penetrated Denmark's defense, giving Indonesia a 1-0 lead.
The one-goal lead fueled Indonesia's confidence, and they extended their advantage in the 10th minute when Reza Gunawan scored with a precise shot.
Indonesia's lead grew to 2-0. Reza scored again in the 17th minute, skillfully outmaneuvering Danish goalkeeper William Kristian in a one-on-one situation. His goal brought the score to 3-0 in favor of Indonesia.
Denmark managed to narrow the lead to 3-1 in the 19th minute through a goal by Scott Rasmussen, and the first half ended with Indonesia holding a comfortable lead.
The Indonesian team maintained their high intensity at the start of the second half. In the 22nd minute, Andres Dwi Persada capitalized on a mistake by a Danish player to score Indonesia's fourth goal, extending the lead to 4-1.
Although Denmark scored a late goal through Mikkel Foged Hansen in the 38th minute, Indonesia held on to their 4-2 lead until the end. The final whistle confirmed the team, led by coach Muhammad Amril, as the champions of the tournament.
